HAZRAT IMAM HUSSAIN (AS)
Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) was the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the son of Hazrat Ali (RA) and Hazrat Fatima (RA), the daughter of the Prophet. He was born in the year 626 CE in the city of Medina. Imam Hussain is widely regarded as a revered figure in Islamic history and is considered as one of the greatest leaders and martyrs of Islam. He is known for his commitment to social justice, peace, and righteousness, and for his unwavering stance against oppression and tyranny. In the year 680 CE, Imam Hussain, along with his family and companions, made a stand against the unjust rule of the Umayyad Caliphate, which had become corrupt and oppressive. Imam Hussain and his followers were outnumbered and outgunned, and they were brutally massacred in the Battle of Karbala.
